The Ravens have been up against it with the Lamar Jackson negotiations for for quite some time. The evolution at the quarterback position in the league has broadened the options of teams who are looking for a franchise signal caller. Ironically, the Baltimore Ravens directly participated in diversifying what a number one quarterback is in the NFL.

The Ravens developed Lamar Jackson into one of the most bankable athletes in the league. It may be that John Harbaugh and his staff believe they can do that with someone else once again.
